Paula Maciołek

Soprano. Graduate of Prof. Katarzyna Oleś-Blacha’s singing class at Kraków’s Academy of Music (an honours degree, 2018). She developed her vocal technique at masterclasses taught by, among others, Katarzyna Oleś-Blacha, Mariusz Kwiecień, Piotr Beczała, Iwona Sobotka, and Ryszard Karczykowski.

The Kraków Opera soloist since 2018/2019. She has appeared as, among others, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and Mimi in La Bohème (both by Puccini), Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro and Despina in Così fan tutte (Mozart), Echo in R. Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos, and Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen.

1st prize winner in the 4th National Barbara Kostrzewska Vocal Competition; 3rd prize in the Iwona Borowicka International Operetta and Musical Music Performance Competition.

Maciołek also graduated from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture at Rzeszów University of Technology.
