He graduated with honours from Stanisław Skoczyński’s class at Warsaw’s Chopin University of Music. He also attended Jean Geoffroy’s master class at the Conservatoire de Lyon. In 2006–2009 he participated in Tallinn courses of new music interpretation. He won the 1st prize in the Nationwide Percussion Competition in Wrocław (2003) and (with Maciej Nerkowski as Scontri Duo) – the 2nd prize in the International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music in Kraków (2010).
One of Poland’s most eminent opera singers. He started his voice education in Vilnius, and continued it with Wacław Filipowicz at Warsaw’s Higher School of Music. In 1946–1950 he was a soloist in the Representative Artistic Ensemble of the Polish Armed Forces; in 1950–1979 he sang at Warsaw Opera and Teatr Wielki.
Singer, actor and theatre director. In 1928–1931 he studied at Warsaw Music Conservatory. In 1928–1937 he was a choir member in Warsaw’s Operetta, Nowości, and other Warsaw theatres. He made his opera debut as Stolnik (The Pantler) in Moniuszko’s Halka in a Warsaw Touring Opera production (1928).

He graduated from Giacomo Soave’s clarinet class at the Conservatorio Antonio Vivaldi in Alessandria, studied electronic music composition at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Ottorino Respighi in Latina, and developed his knowledge and skills with, among others, Alan Hacker and Alain Damiens. At the age of eighteen, he met Karlheinz Stockhausen, who regularly engaged him as a soloist. Marelli premiered and recorded many of the German composer’s works, later released on multi-award-winning albums.
Jazz guitarist, born in 1973 in Rotterdam. He grew up in Paris, where he graduated from the jazz class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique. From 1993 he studied with Jim Hall, Billy Harper, and Kenny Werner at New York’s Mannes School of Music (The New School)
Baritone. Educated at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (under Christian Elssner) and the C. M. von Weber Hochschule für Musik in Dresden. Finalist and winner of special prizes at the singing competitions in Duszniki-Zdrój (2000) and Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition in Vienna (2007).
Singer, violinist, composer, and text writer, one of Poland’s most popular music personalities. Born into a family with musical traditions, she graduated from the violin class at the Chopin Music Academy (now — University) in Warsaw. It is voice, however, that has become her main means of artistic expression. She was ‘Jazz Forum’’s best singer of 2019.
