ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

PWM will make the ANAKLASIS website available in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 relating to digital access to the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. This applies to the website www.anaklasis.pl

Date of publication of the Internet platform: January 2020

Date of most recent substantial update: March 2022

This website partly fails to conform with the Act relating to digital access to websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies due to the lack of subtitles in some of the films and the lack of audio description for the visually impaired. The photographs and illustrations on the website do not possess alternative descriptions, and their content is not accessible to the blind and to those who do not display graphics on mobile devices.

Users restricted to a keyboard can move freely around the website using the Tab key.

Navigation is also user-friendly for the blind, thanks to the optimal subpage titles, the organising function of headings and other improvements made in respect to screen readers.

Active throughout the website is ‘focus’, that is, the default marking of an active link or form field. Focus moves through all the visible active elements of the website in a logical order. This enables the website to be used comfortably by the physically handicapped, for example, or those with a significant visual impairment.

Links to website subpages open in the same window, giving users full control over their browser. Links to external platforms open in a separate window.

We have taken care to ensure a suitable contrast between text and background, making the material legible for those with weaker eyesight.

We endeavour to write comprehensible texts and to format them in a way that complies with the principles of accessibility (using two colours at most and not employing small caps).

Some elements have not been adapted, as that would have interfered with the graphic design of the website, necessitating the complete reconstruction of the www module.

This statement was prepared on 20 September 2020. It is based on self-assessment conducted by a public sector body.

CONTACT

If you experience any problems with the website’s accessibility, please contact us at it@pwm.com.pl or by calling +48124227044. These contacts can also be used to submit applications for unavailable information to be made available and access requests.

Anyone has the right to request that a digital website or mobile application, or any part thereof, be made accessible. One can also request that information be made available through some alternative means, for instance by the reading of a document not digitally accessible, the description of the contents of a film without audio description, and so on. Any such request should contain details of the person making the request and the website or mobile application concerned, as well as contact details. If the person making a request indicates the need to receive information by means of an alternative form of access, he/she should also specify a convenient form in which that information can be presented. The public body should meet the request without delay, within 7 days of its submission. If that deadline cannot be kept, the public body must immediately inform the petitioner when the request will be met; that deadline cannot exceed 2 months from the day the request was submitted. If it is impossible to provide digital access, the public body may propose an alternative form of access to the information. If the public body refuses to satisfy an access request or to ensure an alternative form of access to the information, the petitioner may submit a complaint concerning digital access to a website or a mobile application or an element of a website or a mobile application. After this procedure has been exhausted, an application may also be made to the Civil Rights Ombudsman.
