Baritone. Educated at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (under Christian Elssner) and the C. M. von Weber Hochschule für Musik in Dresden. Finalist and winner of special prizes at the singing competitions in Duszniki-Zdrój (2000) and Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition in Vienna (2007).
Singer, violinist, composer, and text writer, one of Poland’s most popular music personalities. Born into a family with musical traditions, she graduated from the violin class at the Chopin Music Academy (now — University) in Warsaw. It is voice, however, that has become her main means of artistic expression. She was ‘Jazz Forum’’s best singer of 2019.
The first woman to have graduated from the saxophone class at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy (now University) of Music in Warsaw (in the class of David Pituch and Krzysztof Herder). As a soloist she debuted at Warsaw Philharmonic in 1995.
Countertenor, graduate of the Chopin Academy (now University) of Music in Warsaw, where he studied with Jerzy Artysz. Member of the International Opera Studio at Opernhaus Zürich. Associated for many years with the Warsaw Chamber Opera, where in 2004 he made his debut as Ottone in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea.
Guitarist. He graduated from Wanda Palacz’s class at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, as well as taking part in masterclasses and workshops conducted by Rolf Lislevand, Thibaut Garcia, Carlo Marchione, Álvaro Pierri, Michał Nagy, Anna Pietrzak, Piotr Zaleski, Ryszard Bałauszko, Marcin Zalewski, and Tomasz Spaliński.
An eminent Polish conductor, violinist and chamber musician; founder and artistic director of the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy; artistic director of the AUKSO Summer Philharmonic festival, and chief conductor of the Elbląg Chamber Orchestra.
Ever since its formation in 1990, Ensemble Musikfabrik has enjoyed the reputation of one of the leading ensembles specialising in most recent contemporary music. For many years it has performed sophisticated and innovative music, frequently composed on the initiative of Musikfabrik as the ensemble’s commissions. Its members are excellents soloists, and their performances are usually prepared in close collaboration with the composers. Every year Musikfabrik gives about 80 concerts in Germany and abroad during major European music festivals and their own series entitled ‘Musikfabrik in WDR’.
Pianist, chamber musician and accompanist, born in 1982 in Bydgoszcz. He graduated from Warsaw’s Chopin University of Music (piano with Andrzej Stefański and Krzysztof Jabłoński, chamber music with Barbara Halska) and from Vienna’s University of Music and Performing Arts (vocal accompaniment with David Lutz).
