Andrzej Lampert

Tenor, graduate of Academies of Music in Katowice (class of Prof. Renata Danel at the Jazz and Popular Music Faculty) and Kraków (class of Prof. Janusz Borowicz at the Voice and Drama Faculty).

He has received regular vocal guidance from Prof. Helena Łazarska since 2011. Prize winner in the 15th Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition in Nowy Sącz and the Mozarteum International Summer Academy in Salzburg (2013). Since 2020 he has been a soloist of the Silesian Opera in Bytom, where he made his debut in 2010 as Alfred in Verdi’s Traviata (dir. Wiesław Ochman). Soloist of the Kraków Opera in 2013–2018.

His numerous recordings include Szymanowski’s Symphony No. 3 ‘The Song of the Night’ (NOSPR, cond. Alexander Liebreich) and the same composer’s opera Hagith (Polish Radio Orchestra, dir. Michał Klauza; Fryderyk Award 2020).

Lampert’s accolades include the Jan Kiepura Music Theatre Award (11th edition) for ‘the best opera singer’, the Zbigniew Gruca Award of ‘Dziennik Teatralny’, the ‘Golden Mask’ for his vocal and acting role in the Silesian Opera’s Romeo and Juliet (dir. Michał Znaniecki), and the Österreichischer Musiktheaterpreis awarded in Salzburg (2020) for his role as Shepherd in Szymanowski’s King Roger (dir. Holger Müller-Brandes, Graz Opera).
