Composer born in 1979 in Wrocław. He graduated from the Engineering and Economics Departmentof the University of Economics in Wrocław. He also studied composition at the Karol Lipiński Music Academy in Wrocław and the High School of Music in Cologne.
A vocalist, songwriter, composer, leader of Lemon band. He was born in Przemków (Lower Silesia) into a family of Lemko ethnic descent which cultivates its Lemko traditions.
Pianist, composer, arranger, conductor and music producer, born in Bydgoszcz, where he graduated from Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń’s piano class at the Felix Nowowiejski Academy of Music.
A leading Polish improvised music ensemble, expanding the concept of a contemporary music collective. Rewarded in major European jazz competitions, such as Jazz Hoeilaart (Belgium).
One of Poland’s most eminent baritones. He studied voice with Helena Oleska in Lwów (now L’viv) and with Adam Didur in Krakow. Prize winner in the International Singing Competition of Toulouse (1954). He made his debut in 1944 as Janusz in Moniuszko’s Halka at Krakow’s Stary Theatre.
Jazz drummer and educator, graduate of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. He won several individual and ensemble prizes during his studies. Since 2005 he has taught jazz percussion at his alma mater, as well as conducting research (DMA degree in 2014) and working as a sound engineer at the Audiovisual Technology Studio.
The orchestra was founded in 2008 on the initiative of Jerzy Semkow.
Its members are the most talented graduates and students of music academies and universities (below the age of thirty.) The Orchestra’s director is Piotr Baron. Since April 2009 the orchestra has been a member of the European Federation of National Youth Orchestras, EFNYO.
Harpist, graduate of the Krakow Academy of Music (class of Bogumiła Lutak-Modrinić) and the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg (where she studied with Ursula Holliger), participant of many international courses in harp performance. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Freiburger Kammerorchester, the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Silesian Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Johanniskantorei Frankfurt-Bornheim, Bielsko Chamber Orchestra, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Gorzów Philharmonic, Krakow Chamber Orchestra, and the Georg Philipp Telemann Baroque Ensemble.
